They were named\u00a0<em>Rhodamnia makumak<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Rhodamnia toratot <\/em>\u00a0in an article published today in PhytoKeys, by author Dr. Neil Snow (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pensoft.net\/journals\/phytokeys\/article\/4098\/five-new-species-of-rhodamnia-myrtaceae-myrteae-from-new-guinea\" target=\"_blank\">PhytoKeys 19:31-49 (2012)<\/a>). He describes five species in minute detail and clarifies their taxonomy, their exact positions in the tree of life.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, the illustrations must be precise, too!
