Fresco secco: earth and mineral pigments on dry plaster

I met Jack at work mounting specimens, deep in the collections of the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum in Honolulu, HI, when I was illustrating new species in the herbarium several years ago. He approached his volunteer work for science with care and creativity. I hope he would enjoy my paintings.
